If you haven’t created your account yet, you can follow the steps in the article “How to Create an Apple Developer Account?” to create your account.

After creating your Apple Developer Account, the first thing you need to do is create a Bundle ID for your application. The Bundle ID is the identifier for your app within the developer system.

Now, let’s go through the steps to create a Bundle ID:

Step 1: First, go to https://developer.apple.com/account/ and log in with your Apple Account. On the screen that appears, click on the Identifiers section.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on Identifiers, and from the screen that appears, click on the Register an App ID button.

Step 3: From the screen that appears, select App IDs and then click on the Continue button.

Step 4: From the screen that appears, select App and then click on the Continue button.

Step 5: Now, you need to fill out the Description and Bundle ID sections to create your app’s identity.

• The Description section is where you enter the app’s name. The name you choose should not contain special characters or Turkish letters as indicated in the picture.
• Next to the Bundle ID, you should select Explicit, and in the field below, you need to create your Bundle ID name. It is recommended to create your Bundle ID using a reverse domain format. For example: com.domainname.appname
  If you do not have a website or company, you can create it as com.appname

Step 7: After ensuring that Push Notifications appear as shown below on the next screen, click the Register button without making any changes.

Congratulations! Your Bundle ID has now been created.

If you haven’t created a Bundle ID yet, you can refer to the How to Create a Bundle ID? document.

If you’ve completed the Bundle ID creation process, you’re very close to the publishing stage. Now, let’s see how to upload your iOS app to the Apple App Store together…

Step 1: To upload your app to the Apple App Store, log in to your Developer Account with your Apple ID at https://developer.apple.com/account/.

After logging into your Apple Developer Account, click on the Apps section on the screen that appears.

Step 2: A new screen will appear where you can view the applications available on the Apple App Store.
If you haven’t uploaded any apps before, this screen will appear empty, just like the image shown below.

If you haven’t created a Bundle ID yet, you can refer to the How to Create a Bundle ID? document.

Through this wizard, you need to enter the following information about your app:

• Platforms: The platform where your app will be available. (Since tvOS is not supported on Mobiroller, you should select only iOS.)
• Company Name: Your company name
• Name: Your app name
• Primary Language: The language of your app
• Bundle ID: The package name you previously created
• SKU Number: You need to create a unique code for your app. (Suggested format: Date + App Name, e.g., 061021testapp)
• User Access: Choose whether your app will have limited or full access. (Full Access is recommended.)

Once you’ve filled in the required fields, click the Create button to continue.

Step-6: On the screen that appears, upload the app screenshots in 6.5-inch (1242×2688 pixels) JPEG format.

We recommend uploading at least 4 screenshots in this section.

Step-7: After uploading the screenshots, you need to fill in the sections located further down on the same screen:

• Promotional Text: This is the promotional text for your app.
• Description: This is the section where you describe your app on the Apple App Store.
• Keywords: Enter the keywords for your app here, separated by commas.
• Support URL: This is where you enter the website, support, or contact page for your app. You must provide a working website in this field.
• Copyright: This is where you specify the copyright for your app. If you’re not sure what to write, you can simply enter the name of your app.

Step-8: After completing the previous step, scroll down to the Contact Information section. Here, you need to enter your contact details that Apple can use to reach you.

If your app or website includes a membership/login section, you must provide Apple with a demo account so they can review the app. Click on the Sign-in required option and enter demo account credentials in the field that appears below. The required login details are:
Username: test@apple.com
Password: 12345678
You must also create this user account both in your app and on your website.

In the Mobiroller panel, you can create this account for Apple under Membership Settings in the left-hand menu.

If your app does not have a login system, you can leave this section unchecked and blank.

After completing these steps, don’t forget to scroll to the top of the page and click the Save button.

• Step 9: Go to the App Information section located on the left side of the screen.
  • In the Subtitle field, enter the subtitle of your app. (This field is optional, so you can leave it blank if you prefer.)
  • Bundle ID: You can select or change the Bundle ID you previously created for your app from this section.

  It is important to select the correct Bundle ID here. If the wrong one is selected, an error will occur during the IPA production.

• Category: You need to specify the category of your app. Add the primary category in the Primary section and the secondary category in the Secondary section.

Adım-10: In this section, you need to enter the general information about your app.

• Content Rights: You need to specify whether your app has access to third-party content and, if so, whether you have the rights to use it. (For example, if you’re pulling news from a news site, do you have the rights to those news articles? If you’re displaying YouTube content in your app, is this content owned by you?)

• License Agreement: You need to agree to the license agreement.
• Age Rating: Based on the content of your app, you should select the appropriate options below and then click the Next button.

In the first option, if your app provides access to restricted sites, select Yes; otherwise, select No.
In the second option, if your app involves gambling, select Yes; otherwise, select No. Then click the Next button.

To reduce the likelihood of your app being rejected, you should select Restrict to 17+ here and click Done. After completing this step, don’t forget to click the Save button located at the top right of the page.

Step 11: After completing the App Information section, click on Pricing and Availability on the left side of the screen, and set the price of your app under the Price section. Afterward, select the relevant countries in the App Availability section on the same page.

Once you’ve completed these steps, don’t forget to click the Save button at the top right.

Step 12: After completing the Pricing and Availability section, click on App Privacy on the left side of the screen.

Privacy Policy URL:
If you have created a privacy policy page for your app, you can provide the link to the relevant page here. If you don’t have such a page, you can access the MobiRoller Privacy Policy that you can use for your Apple Store listing.

– First, click on Edit to add a Privacy Policy link for your app. After adding the relevant link, click the Save button.

– After uploading the Privacy Policy, click on the Get Started button. In the Get Started section, you must specify what data your app collects and for what purposes. If there are no cookies or data collection systems, you can select No. After selecting the appropriate option for your app, click the Next button. If you selected Yes, you will be asked to choose which data you collect and why.

– After completing the data collection steps, click the Publish button in the top right corner to confirm your Privacy Policy and the information you provided regarding data collection.

Step-13: If your app will have in-app purchases (product sales, subscription processes, etc.), you must complete these transactions before submitting your app for review. Otherwise, the in-app purchase functionality in your app will not work.

Note: Your app’s logo is taken from the logo you uploaded in the Mobiroller panel. The logo should not have any transparent areas. Otherwise, all transparent areas will appear black.

3. The third step is to create your app on the Apple App Store and enter your app information (Description, Screenshots, etc.). The document below will assist you in this process.

You cannot generate an IPA file without completing these 3 steps. Make sure you’ve followed these steps before generating the IPA file.

If you have completed all these steps, you are now ready to generate the IPA file.

You need to go to your app on Mobiroller and click on Publish -> Apple App Store (iOS).

Click on the “Generate IPA File” button on the screen that appears.

You will see our new IPA generation tool. If you have completed the steps mentioned at the beginning of this article, you can check the boxes in the to-do list located at the top right of the iOS Generation screen. Once these boxes are checked, the iOS Generation section will become editable.

IMPORTANT Note: It is mandatory to fill in all the fields in the iOS Generation section. Otherwise, your IPA generation will fail.

1. Apple ID: You need to enter the email address associated with your Apple developer account.
2. Apple Password: Enter the password for your developer account.
3. App Name: You need to write the name you have given your app in Mobiroller.
4. App Bundle: You need to enter the Bundle ID you created in the second step here. If you don’t remember your Bundle ID, go to the App Store Connect address and click on the App Information section on the left. In this section, you will be able to find your App Bundle, SKU, and App Store ID information.
5. Team ID: You need to go to this link. From this page, you can find your Team ID. Enter your Team ID in the Team ID section marked as number 5 on the iOS Generation screen.
6. SKU: You can find the details in Step 4.
7. Distribution Certificate:
   
   – Go to https://developer.apple.com/account/ and click on “Certificates” under the “Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles” section.

• Click on “Create a certificate” to generate your certificate file.

• Select “iOS Distribution (App Store and Ad Hoc)” from the options and click Continue.

• On this screen, you need to upload the signing request file for the certificate. You can download it from here.
• After downloading, click Choose File and upload the CertificateSigningRequest.certSigningRequest file you downloaded, then click Continue.

• After this step, you should click Download. The file ios_distribution.cer will be downloaded to your computer. Now, you need to upload this ios_distribution.cer file to the Distribution Certificate field, which is marked with number 7 in the iOS Generation screen.

   8 . Mobile Provisioning

Go to https://developer.apple.com/account/ and click on the “Profile” button located in the “Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles” section.

• Next, click on “Profiles” and then click the “+” sign that appears.

• Select “App Store Connect” and click Continue.

• On the next screen, you will be asked to select the App ID. Choose the correct App ID that matches your Bundle ID and click Continue.

Important Note: The correct ID you select here is crucial. The ID contains the Bundle ID, and making an incorrect selection will lead to errors when generating the IPA for your app.

• On the screen that appears, select the certificate you created and click Continue.

• In the Provisioning Profile Name field, you need to write “Dist” followed by your app’s name (for example, “Dist TestApp”).
• After this, click Generate.

• Click Download to download the profile file to your computer. Then, upload this file to the Mobile Provisioning field in the iOS Generation screen, marked with number 8.

     9. App Store ID: In step 4 of this article, we already explained this step. You should have added it while completing step 4.

     10. App-Spesific Password:  Go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and log in. Then, on the page that opens, click on the “App-specific passwords” button.

• On the screen that appears, click the “Generate an app-specific password” button.

• Then, in the screen that appears, you need to provide a name. You can write “Mobiroller” in this field.

• For security reasons, the system will ask you to enter your password on this screen. Please enter your Apple account password here.

• A password in the format of “xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx,” 16 characters long, will appear on the screen. Copy this password and save it somewhere safe, as you will use the same password for all of your applications. After copying it, click the Done button.
• Now, paste this password into the “App-specific passwords” field, which is marked as number 10 in the iOS Generation screen.

If you have completed all the steps up to this point, you should have filled in all the information in the section we’ve marked below. If any of this information is missing, please review the article in more detail.

11. Finally, fill in the three options at the very bottom according to your app settings. If the settings do not apply to you, you can leave them blank:

• Active Background Mode: If your app plays radio or music in the background, you need to check this box.
• Deactivate Location Permission: If you don’t want to use location services in your app, check this box.
• Activate AdMob: If your app will display AdMob ads, check this box and paste the AdMob Application ID you received from AdMob into this field. Otherwise, ads will not appear in your app.

12. After completing all the steps, click the Save button and refresh your page. Once this is done, click the Request (IPA Request) button.

After this process, you should send the following email to support@mobiroller.com with the subject line IPA Production Approval Request:

Subject: IPA Production Approval Request

Message:  Hello,
The necessary information for IPA Production has been filled in and sent for approval.

---

This will notify the Mobiroller team that all required information has been completed and the IPA production process is ready for review.

After your email, our team will approve it and your IPA file will start to be generated automatically. Sometimes it may take some time to be reflected in the field on the left. You will receive an email regarding your IPA file when it is ready.

13. Once you receive the email confirming that your IPA file has been generated, log in to your Apple account from here. Then, click on the “Apps” button on the screen that opens.

14. On your app screen, you will see the “+” button in the Build section, slightly lower on the page. Click on it and select the IPA file from there. Then, click the Save button in the top right corner of the page to save it.

If the “+” button does not appear on this screen, it means the IPA has not been uploaded yet. However, don’t worry; if you’ve received the email confirming that the IPA has been generated, it will be uploaded here. The upload process may take some time, up to about 1 hour.

16.  When you refresh the page, you can either click on the “+” button in the Build section or click on the “Add Build” button.

17.  In the window that opens, you will see the generated IPA file. Select the file and click the Done button.

17.  We have uploaded the IPA file. Now, click on the Save button first, then click on the Add for Review button located at the top right.

18. In the window that opens, you will see the release summary. Click on the Submit to App Review button on this screen.

19. Congratulations
If you have followed all the steps shown in the document, you should have reached the screen below. You have successfully submitted your app to the Apple App Store for release.

Your app has now been submitted for review. The Apple Team will review your app within 48 hours and will send you the results of the review via email.
